Mrs Shiela Dugdill

Vascular Nurse, Newcastle

Shiela Dugdill is a Vascular Nurse practitioner working in a large vascular unit in Newcastle upon Tyne. Her role is to promote and improve outcomes for vascular patients within the northern region and to manage claudication clinics. She continues to manage risk factors within vascular disease and helps raise public awareness of PAD within the community. This involves promoting education and ABPI measurement within the assessment of PAD and to help develop activities which relate to vascular assessment in primary care settings.
