Mrs Eve Knight

Eve Knight has worked with Patients, Government, Industry and the Voluntary Sector over many years. Her remit includes working with groups in the UK and across Europe to ensure equity of care and access to the best clinical services plus availability of good quality information and support.

She has constantly worked towards ensuring that the patient and carer perspective is taken into account at all levels of service provision. She also works to influence the political agenda.

She is a member of several boards including: the Government Modernisation Board, the National CHD Task Force, The Association of Anticoagulation Specialists, and is a Section Editor of the British Journal of Cardiology. She is a Member of the editorial board of the British Journal of Primary Care Nursing and Deputy Editor of INReview.

She is past Chair of the Heart Care partnership UK (affiliated to the British Cardiac Society), was a patient Choice Trustee and a member of the CHI Review Board. She has worked in a voluntary capacity for The British Cardiac Patients Association for over 14 years. Eve is also Co-Founder of Anti-coagulation Europe, a charity dedicated to providing information, advice and support to people on anticoagulation therapy.

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is often underestimated and overlooked and ensuring that people know the symptoms and the risks and are able to obtain prompt treatment will help to improve outcomes and the quality of life for PAD patients.
